Ezra lived in Deerfield, Massachusetts. He might be Ezra Wood. In Zadock Hawks' day book Ezra Wood is recorded in 1794 as purchasing shoes for his wife and potatoes. In John Williams' day book entries for "Ezra" appear in 1800. He bought tobacco, a mug, rum, molasses, and crackers, and received credit for hoeing corn. Ezra died at the age of 36.
