Bio

Caesar was enslaved by Ebenezer Wells of Deerfield, Massachusetts. Some time after Wells acquired Caesar, he enslaved a young girl named Lucy Terry. In 1734, Caesar and Lucy were baptized and in 1736, he was taken into the church. Caesar had an account at Elijah Williams' store, where, in 1745, he purchased a knife and shoe buckles and paid with half a fox skin.
