Bio

Caesar was enslaved by Ebenezer Wells of Deerfield, Massachusetts. Wells later enslaved a young girl named Lucy Terry. In 1734, Caesar and Lucy were baptized and in 1736, he was admitted to church membership. Caesar had an account at Elijah Williams' store, where, in 1745, he purchased a knife and shoe buckles and paid with a fox skin.
