Dr. Thomas Williams Letter to his Father-in-Law

- Dr. Thomas Williams (1718-1775) of Deerfield, Massachusetts, wrote this letter on August 23, 1757 to his father-in-law, William Williams of Weston, Massachusetts, in which the doctor referred to the long illness of “our poor Negro girl” from “ye slow fever.” (Williams Family Papers, Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association Library.)
