Description:
David K. Goss and David Zarowin edited this volume listing men of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, including African Americans, known to have served in the French and Indian War (1754-1763) during the years 1755-56. The editors created the list using “Muster Rolls, 1755-1756” in volume 94 of the Massachusetts State Archives. Individuals are listed by name and, if identified in the original muster roll, their rank, residence, Company, Regiment, Campaign in which they served, and their dates of service.
