Robert E. MacKay edited this volume listing men of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, including African Americans, known to have served in King George’s War (1744-1748) and the beginning of the French and Indian War (1754-1763.) Published in 1978 by the Society of Colonial Wars in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, MacKay used muster rolls and other period sources to identify individuals by name and, where known, their residence, dates and duration of service, companies in which they served, expeditions in which they participated, and officers under whom they served. This volume is in the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Library in Deerfield, Massachusetts.
