Sarah Williams (1716-1737) was the youngest child of the Reverend John Williams (1664-1729) of Deerfield. She died unmarried at the age of 23 from an unknown illness. Her probate inventory included "a Molatto fellow." This may have been Mesheck, who was included in her father's probate inventory as "The Molatto boy Meseck" valued at 80 £ when Williams died eight years earlier in 1729. Mesheck was subsequently enslaved by another of Williams's' daughters, Abigail Williams Hinsdale (1708-1787) and her husband, the Reverend Ebenezer HInsdale (1707-1763.)
