Arthur Prutt and his wife Joan were enslaved by the Reverend Isaac Chauncey of Hadley, Massachusetts. They had seven children: George, 1722-1794; Elenor, born 1724; Ishmael, born 1726; Caesar, born 1727; Abner, born 1729; Zebulon, 1731-1802; and Chloe, born 1738.
