Zadok Honeywell

Bio

Zadock was a farmer from Montague, Massachusetts.  According to Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors of the Revolutionary War (Vol. 8, pg. 498), he stood 5 feet, 10 inches tall and had black hair and a black complexion.  In 1781 he was 18 years old.

• Mar. 29, 1781; paid a bounty for 3 years of service 
• Sept.-Dec. 1781; private in Capt. Zebulon King’s Co., Lieut. Col. John Brooks’  7^th Regiment
• Oct.- Dec. at York Huts, on command at Verplanck’s Point, NY
• Dec. on command at Stony Point, NY
